Biography

Mr. Murawski is a senior technical marketing professional who has more than 45 years experience in consulting, corporate strategic planning, business development and program management in the Information Technology and Communications (IT&C) field. Operating his consulting practice, FTM Consulting Inc., for more than 25 years, his focus is technology forecasting and analysis of the IT&C market.

For the past 20 years, his consulting practice has focused on the networking structured cabling systems (SCS) marketplace, providing market forecasts and new technology developments for both fiber and copper cabling systems. As a result, Mr. Murawski is considered to be one of the leading authorities on this marketplace. Mr. Murawski has authored and published the majority of the authoritative market research reports on the SCS marketplace. These reports cover product forecasts, technology and new product developments for both copper and optical fiber SCS products. In addition, clients for custom consulting support in this marketplace, such as DuPont, Bell Labs, Corning and Tyco Electronics, avail themselves of Mr. Murawski’s expertise in this area. In addition, Mr. Murawski has provided consulting services to major management consulting firms, such as McKinsey & Co., and major investment banks, such as Bank of America. As a member of the Society of Industry Leaders, Mr. Murawski uses his knowledge of the SCS marketplace to provide SCS supplier analysis to major investment firms.

Initially, his consulting firm provided technology market research reports for other leading market research firms, such as Frost & Sullivan and Insight Research. These reports covered technology and product forecasting for the telecommunications and data communications industries.

As the Manager of Corporate Development with Management Assistance Inc. (included Basic Four minicomputer division), Mr. Murawski provided strategic consulting support for senior executive management . In addition, AD Little corporate planning training was used to assist in the development of both the corporate and divisional strategic five-year plans. Other services included tracking and reporting on key industry trends and participation in acquisition analysis.

As a senior consultant with Quantum Science Corp., a leading technology market research firm, Mr. Murawski provided market forecast and analysis in the telecommunications, computer and office automation market segments. With Sperry Corporation, Mr. Murawski held positions in program management and engineering management, focusing on word processing and office automation systems. At Sanders Associates and Hazeltine, he was the lead technical professional in the development of terminal and computer I/O interfaces.

Mr. Murawski holds BEE and MEE degrees from the City College of New York.
